Description:  Trauma often goes unrecognized as a significant barrier to occupational engagement and progress in therapy.  As holistic practitioners, OTPs can lead the way in interprofessional education, motivational interviewing techniques, and introducing coping strategies to support clients in all practice environments and across the lifespan.
